This one day tour is suitable for the first timer in Bali, who just wanted to recap what are the most visited places in Bali.
The trip will start by visiting Bedugul area. Bedugul is the name used to cover a large area of the central highlands of Bali around the villages of Bedugul itself. The focus point of the area centres on the three crater lakes of Bratan (Beratan), Buyan and Tamblingan, and the nearby botanical gardens.
The famous Pura Ulun Danu Temple is located in the shores of Lake Baratan and is one of the postcard scenes of bali besides the tanah lot temple and is the second most visited temple site for tourists among Bali’s more than 20,000 hindu temples.
From Bedugul to the next destination lies Jatiluwih area, famous for its beautiful rice terrace unfolding from the foot of mountain until the coastal side. The whole area is scenic with many rice terraces, waterfalls, temples and Candikuning market nearby. The most famous part of Jatiluwih has warungs on the other side of the road where you can take in views of the terraces.
Being more out of the way, Jatiluwih is less commercial and crowded than the Tegalalang rice terraces. The incredibly green terraces also spread over a greater distance. You are free to walk down the paths and have a closer look at the terraces and little huts.
Finishing up, the last destination will be Tanah Lot. Tanah Lot is a rock formation off the Indonesian island of Bali. It is home to the pilgrimage temple Pura Tanah Lot, a popular tourist and cultural icon for photography and general exoticism. Ending the day here, the sunset is a breathtaking view to behold.
